1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using MarginHow, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or calculator.

2. What MarginHow provides

MarginHow is a free, independent calculator designed to help sellers estimate product prices, marketplace fees, costs, discounts and profit. It does not connect to your Etsy account and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Etsy, Inc.

The results are estimates based on the information you enter and the assumptions displayed in the calculator. Fees, taxes, exchange rates, shipping costs, marketplace rules and local requirements can change or apply differently to individual accounts and countries.

3. Your responsibility

You are responsible for checking the current fees and terms that apply to your marketplace account, country and tax status before setting a final price or making a business decision. MarginHow is not accounting, tax, legal, customs or financial advice.

4. Permission to use the website

You may use MarginHow for your own personal or internal business calculations. This permission is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and may be withdrawn if these terms are breached.

You may not copy or republish substantial parts of the website, resell access, present the calculator as your own, remove ownership notices, use automated extraction to reproduce its content, or create a confusingly similar service using MarginHow branding or original material. Nothing in these terms limits an exception or right that applicable law does not allow us to restrict.

5. Intellectual property

The MarginHow name, original written content, visual design and website software are owned by or licensed to the MarginHow operator and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

Etsy and related Etsy marks belong to Etsy, Inc. Other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification.

6. Availability and changes

We may correct, update, suspend or discontinue any part of MarginHow at any time. We do not promise that the website will always be available, error-free or suitable for every seller, marketplace or jurisdiction.

7. External links

MarginHow may link to Etsy, Cloudflare or other third-party resources for convenience. Those websites operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or availability.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

MarginHow is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the MarginHow operator is not liable for losses arising from reliance on an estimate, an incorrect or outdated input, a marketplace change, or an interruption of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or other responsibility that applicable law makes mandatory.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable European Union law and the laws of the EU member state where MarginHow is operated, without taking away any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the website, its services or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will show the latest revision.
